Bragg-Brentano mode acquisition of powdery or massive but small samples, or samples deposited in thin layers on monocrystalline or amorphous substrates.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>Its detector offers excellent performance, except for samples containing Fe or Co, whose X-ray fluorescence is poorly filtered by the detector. The Ge monochromator is advantageous for powders with large crystallographic mesh sizes and\/or low symmetry, and for Bragg-Brentano mode (\u03b8\/2\u03b8) studies of thin film samples deposited on
