The 300 MHz spectrometer acquires spectra for which a high-field spectrometer is not necessary, or even inappropriate. This situation is common for heavy nuclei such as the tin or lead ones, which exhibit a broad chemical shift anisotropy (the higher the field strength, the greater the spectral spread).
