Powder diffraction and solid samples with no X-ray fluorescence problems (low Fe and Co contents) ;
Electrochemical and high-temperature studies.
The Panalytical X’Pert pro is equipped with :
a first-generation Si stripe detector (“X’Celerator”), whose energy resolution does not effectively remove fluorescence radiation from Fe or Co. In most cases, the detector’s fast acquisition speed means that excellent quality Bragg-Brentano (θ/θ) diagrams can be acquired;
a sample changer for acquiring diagrams of a large number of small-volume powder or solid samples;
a suitable sample holder to study larger-volume bulk samples and accommodate electrochemical cells (operando and in situ studies);
an Anton Paar HTK1200N furnace for high-temperature studies (T<1200°C, in air or neutral atmosphere).
